I’m Claudia, owner and grower of Azalea Field Flowers.

I’m a flower farmer, a proud Latina mama of four, and the heart behind a small-scale flower farm based in Rapidan, Virginia. I specialize in locally grown, seasonal blooms and believe flowers do more than decorate a space — they heal, connect, and tell stories.

My love for flowers began long before this farm existed. Growing up in Los Angeles, my daddy used to take me to El Parque de las Rosas. I’d wander through the blooms, completely mesmerized, often leaving with pricked fingers — but even then, I knew flowers had a hold on my heart.

After a year of planning and preparing, Azalea Field Flowers officially bloomed — and I’ve just completed my very first growing season. This year brought early mornings, muddy boots, lessons learned the hard way, sold-out bouquet drops, Bloom Boxes, weddings, markets, and a whole lot of growth — both in the field and in myself. More than anything, it proved that chasing a dream and seeing it through is always worth the hard work.

This farm is named after my youngest daughter, Sage Azalea — my reminder that healing and growth often arrive hand in hand. I believe deeply that God placed this dream in my life at exactly the right time, and I carry that gratitude into everything I grow.

Today, Azalea Field Flowers offers thoughtfully harvested, locally grown blooms for our community. From farmers markets and CSA shares to custom bouquets and intimate events, every stem reflects sustainable growing practices, intention, and a deep love for this land and community.

When I’m not farming or being a mama, at the gym, digging in the dirt, or wearing a floral dress with my favorite cowgirl boots — embracing each season just like the flowers do.
